Evenings on the Colorado River are not just beautiful — they are transformative. As the sun drops below the rim, the 2,000-foot canyon walls cycle through a spectrum of color that no photograph fully captures. The river slows, the air cools, and the only sound is your paddle dipping into glassy water. Departing directly from the Lodge, our guides know exactly which stretch to float, where to pause, and when to let the silence do the talking. After about 1.5 hours of paddling, swimming, and sight-seeing, you will be shuttled back to Red Cliffs Lodge as the light begins to fade. This is the special kind of moment people seek in Moab, but rarely find.

Cancellation Policy

Guided Kayak Tours 48 Hours or More Notice: You receive a full refund minus a 15% cancellation fee. Less than 48 Hours Notice: No refunds are provided. Weather Policy: Trips run rain or shine. No refunds are given for cancellations due to personal choice regarding weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I need paddling experience?+

  None at all. The current does most of the work, and your guide will instruct you. This is a relaxed float, not a whitewater run. You also have to option, at booking, to let us know if you prefer the guide do all the paddling.

• Will I get wet?+

  Expect some splashing. Wear clothes you don't mind getting damp, or bring a dry bag for your phone.

• What time do we launch?+

  Launch time varies by season — typically 2 hours before sunset. We'll confirm the exact time when you book.

• Can kids join?+

  Yes, ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult in the same watercraft. This applies to the Raft only. Kids under 10 may not Kayak.

• Do I HAVE to row? +

  No, please let us know when you book that you would prefer the guide to row you on this tour.
