Only 1 Day to Raft? This scenic voyage has all the components of a classic river trip: great whitewater, spectacular and drastic geology, variety of wildlife, and remote wilderness canyons. This particular stretch of the Colorado River is wild and free flowing, resulting in a variety of water levels through the rafting season. The narrow canyon of 1.7 billion-year-old black schist rock is a sharp contrast to the red rock cliffs preceding and following the whitewater section. This is the most exciting 1 Day Whitewater trip near Moab, Utah.

Colorado River forces its way into narrow Black Granite Gorge forming renowned rapids like: Little Hummer, Funnel Falls, Last Chance & the infamous Skull Rapid.

• What if it rains?+

  We run trips rain or shine — you're going to get wet anyway! In the rare event of dangerous weather (lightning, flash flood warnings), we'll reschedule your trip at no charge or provide a full refund.

• Do I need experience?+

  Not at all. This trip is rated Easy and designed for beginners. Your guide will give a full safety briefing and paddling instruction before you launch.

• What ages are allowed?+

  Children ages 5 and up are welcome. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Child-sized PFDs are provided.

• Can I bring my own gear?+

  All necessary rafting gear is provided. You're welcome to bring your own USCG-approved PFD if you prefer.

• How do I get there?+

  Meet us at Paradox Basecamp at 281 N Main St in Moab. We provide a free shuttle to the river put-in. Parking is available on-site.
