About This Adventure

As an authorized concessionaire of the National Park Service, we hold exclusive permits to guide you into the backcountry of Canyonlands and Arches. If you want to see red rock country off the pavement and away from the crowds, this is the ultimate off- road adventure. The morning kicks off in capable, air-conditioned 4x4 vehicles heading into the backcountry of Arches National Park. Taking advantage of the cool morning air, we stretch our legs and take in the iconic views at Eye of the Whale Arch, Delicate Arch Viewpoint, Skyline Arch, The Windows, and Sand Dune Arch. The afternoon shifts gears after guests enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch. We cross a fault line looking up at walls carved by time and the Colorado River where petroglyphs (ancient rock markings) can be seen in the sandstone patina. We'll explore the vast scale of Canyonlands National Park, tracing the old mining trails on the White Rim and visiting overlooks only accessible by 4x4. The tour finishes on the high mesa of Island in the Sky after climbing out of the canyons on the switchbacks of the Shafer Trail
