Half Day Inflatable Kayak Trip

About This Adventure

Select a private ½ day guided Kayak trip in an “IK” and paddle down the river at surface level. Interact with the water and enjoy your agility as you propel yourself to explore your surroundings. Your guide can provide the instruction you need for paddling techniques. It’s an up-close interaction with the river! Novice-friendly, more challenging at higher water levels. We provide the guide, equipment, snacks, and water. Solo or tandem kayaks available (young adventurers ages 10-12 must share a tandem kayak with adult). AM and Late Light options available, as well as whitewater or flat-water river choices. A Kayak trip with Wild West Voyages is fun for the whole family.

Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 48 hours after booking. Cancellations within 48 hours of your experience are subject to a 50% charge. No-shows are non-refundable.

Frequently Asked Questions

• What if it rains?+

  We run trips rain or shine — you're going to get wet anyway! In the rare event of dangerous weather (lightning, flash flood warnings), we'll reschedule your trip at no charge or provide a full refund.

• Do I need experience?+

  Not at all. This trip is rated Easy and designed for beginners. Your guide will give a full safety briefing and paddling instruction before you launch.

• What ages are allowed?+

  Children ages 5 and up are welcome. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Child-sized PFDs are provided.

• Can I bring my own gear?+

  All necessary rafting gear is provided. You're welcome to bring your own USCG-approved PFD if you prefer.

• How do I get there?+

  Meet us at Paradox Basecamp at 281 N Main St in Moab. We provide a free shuttle to the river put-in. Parking is available on-site.
