About This Adventure

Arches National Park holds more than 2,000 catalogued stone arches — the hiking trails access perhaps thirty of them. This 30-minute flight covers all of it: Delicate Arch in full context, Balanced Rock, the Windows, the salt anticline fins the whole park grew from. The park looks completely different from altitude, and things that seem disconnected on the ground resolve into a single coherent system from above.

Your pilot has flown this route hundreds of times and knows exactly where to bank the aircraft for the shots that photography was invented for. Departs Moab airport; come with a fully charged camera.

Cancellation Policy

Passengers are required to request cancellation at least 24 hours in advance of their tour to receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours are not eligible to have their fares refunded.

• Do we actually fly over the national park?+

  Yes! You will fly directly over Arches, Monument Valley, and Canyonlands National Park. Redtail Air is the only air tour operator in Moab permitted to fly directly above Southeast Utah's national parks.

• What should we bring?+

  Water, a light jacket, your camera, and a smile! Every passenger gets a window seat, so have that camera ready.

• What is the minimum age?+

  All ages are welcome on our flights! Children over 24 months must sit in their own seat. Booster pillows are provided by Redtail Air for younger passengers.

• How big is the plane? How many people can fit?+

  Our planes seat up to 9 passengers with a window seat for everyone. For larger groups, multiple planes can be arranged to fly together.

• When is the best time to fly?+

  For the calmest skies and smoothest experience, we recommend booking an early morning flight. Light winds at sunrise also make for the most dramatic photography.
